Animal Therapy is a healing process. Animals have a unique sensitivity to people’s feelings and do this through a robust, direct experience of nonverbal communication. Consequently, Equine-Assisted Therapy can be especially effective with Youth who are resistant to talk therapy. Kids learn about themselves and others by working with horses, therapists, and peers.
